Había una vez un gran maestro quien tenía muchos estudiantes.
Una vez uno de los estudiantes vino donde él y le preguntó “He leído montones de libros pero he olvidado la mayoría de ellos. ¿Cuál es el propósito de leer?”.
El maestro no le dio una respuesta en ese momento.
Después de unos días el maestro le dio a ese estudiante un tamiz el cual estaba sucio y en una muy mala condición como se muestra en la imagen.
El maestro le pidió al estudiante que fuese a buscar agua de un río cercano en este tamiz.
Al estudiante no le gustó la idea pero no pudo rehusarse a su maestro.
Fue al río, llenó el tamiz en el río e inició su viaje de regreso.
A unos cuantos pies de caminar, todo el agua en el tamiz se derramó a través de los hoyos.
Entonces de nuevo fue al río y llenó el tamiz.
Hizo esto todo el día pero no pudo cumplir la tarea asignada por su maestro.
Regresó a donde el maestro con una cara triste y dijo “Soy incapaz de recoger agua con este tamiz. He fallado.”
Su maestro le sonrió.
¡No! No fallaste.
Mira el tamiz.
Se había puesto como nuevo. Se limpió cuando estabas intentando recoger agua.
El maestro entonces explicó el verdadero motivo detrás de esta tarea.
Dijo “La última vez me preguntaste cuál es el propósito de leer si no recuerdas lo que leíste. Ahora toma este ejemplo del tamiz.
Tamiz = Mente
Agua = Conocimiento
Río = Libro
¡Incluso si no puedes recordarlo está bien!
Pero leer definitivamente hará que tu mente se agilice.
El leer tiene un profundo impacto en tu mente, cerebro.
Ayuda a ser una mejor versión de ti mismo.
Esto es un proceso inconsciente.
La historia termina aquí.
He leído cientos de libros hasta la fecha.
No recuerdo todas las cosas de ellos.
Pero ciertamente sé que soy más inteligente que antes y por ende, seguiré leyendo.
